My name is Shane Holmes, I’m an engineer with a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering and a Master’s in Computer Science. I have a wide range of interests in the fields of electrical, computer, and software engineering.

My work spans a range of disciplines; I’ve developed a LiDAR mapping system, built CV localization for a surgical robot, and taken on a plethora of hardware projects including a fully articulated robotic hand. I was a Fulbright Canada Killam Fellow, which took me to the University of Toronto for an academic exchange focused on furthering my education and experiencing Canadian culture.

I tend to gravitate more toward interdisciplinary problems because I enjoy working on novel challenges. These challenges give me the opportunity to learn new concepts.
